BEE THE CHANGE!
You. Us. Everyone on the planet depends on pollinators to survive… And it’s no secret that pollinator populations are plummeting. That’s why we feel it’s our responsibility and honor to deploy our incredible working dogs to help save native pollinators.
Please join us and our supporters and BEE the Change!
A very special thank you to our Pollinator Program supporters:
THE SNIFF THAT SAVES
Our MCDI Pollinator Program protects local pollinators by providing boots-on-the-ground, canine scent-detection surveys to locate nests, diseases, frass, and other pollinator targets.
Location is the first step in conservation. Many pollinators are in severe decline due to lack of habitat and chemical poisoning. Our teams can serve as the first line of defense for pollinators, reducing the spread of hive diseases and locating native pollinator populations.
EVERY DOLLAR HELPS!
We're raising $20K, which allows us to support research and lend a hand (and nose!) in preserving our beloved pollinators!
BUZZ INTO ACTION!
Are you interested in citizen science? We have an incredible opportunity for you to help train our K9s AND become involved in collecting valuable data! If you feel you have bumble bee nests on your property, and would like to see if our dogs can sniff them out, connect with us!
YOU CAN HELP RIGHT AT HOME!
Do you like spotting bumble bees on your property? Your observations are valuable! Please consider submitting your information to these two incredible citizen science programs.
FACTS ABOUT POLLINATORS
Honey bees must gather nectar from two million flowers to make one pound of honey.
Scent detection canines can help native pollinators such as honey bees, bumble bees, bats, and butterflies. If you work with pollinators, we want to serve you, too! Please submit a request below!
